Job Description:
- Receive and unpackage the hardware deliveries
- Securely store all hardware deliveries
- Removal of packaging and waste materials
- Perform Asset Inventory Management in accordance with Client’s instructions, including the use of client’s inventory systems and compliance with processes
- Build and deploy desktops, monitors and peripherals
- Communicate with end-users in accordance with Client’s instructions
- Perform incident management to support newly migrated users on Windows 10 and Office 2016 in accordance with Client’s instructions, including the use of Client’s ticketing systems and processes.
- Contribute to Win10 knowledgebase and support procedures
- Adhere to existing migration approach and provide feedback and recommendations as appropriate Prepare the hardware being replaced for decommissioning and disposal in accordance with Client’s instructions.
Key Skills\Experience:
- 2-5 years windows desktop support experience in similar environment
- Bilingual language skills preferred (spoken and written, in English and Cantonese)
- Confident manner, customer focused attitude and strong communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the Financial Services Industry is preferred
- Previous experience with mass PC OS migration is preferred
- A good understanding of various technologies including but not limited to TCPIP, Windows
- permission and management utilities
- Comfortable working with users at all levels of seniority
- Able to remain calm and demonstrate clear thinking under pressure
Working Shift Hours:
- Total working hour: 40 hours week
- Normal hours Mon-Fri 0900-1800 (8 hours per day with 1 hour lunch)
- May need to take shift within coverage hours Mon-Fri 0700-2100 upon client request
- Monday to Friday outside these hours there will be OT
- Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays there will be OT
